Webmail Upgrade Notice

Please note that on Monday, 1st September 2008, Easyspace will be upgrading our webmail systems to provide an enhanced user interface and additional features. Access to the system will remain the same, your username and password will still be valid and you will also use the same login address.

There are many new and exciting features which we’re sure you will benefit from, some of which are detailed below:

AJAX Interface
Simple, clean and efficient is how we would sum up the new interface available within the webmail. Offering increased functionality and flexibility, you will be completely at home with the new system.

Firefox 3 Support
The latest of the popular browsers is fully supported by our new platform.

POP3 / IMAP via SSL
Our services will now fully support both mail types via SSL. This adds additional security when browsing your e-mail via Easyspace.

Improved Outlook Websync
Our Websync service now allows for full synchronization with your Outlook client for Calendars and Tasks.

• Vista Websync
Websync also fully supports the Vista operating system with Outlook 2003 and 2007.

iCal Support
For Mac users, our webmail now supports Calendar data exported via iCal.

Multiple Local Calendars
The latest release now supports multiple calendars, allowing you to create a new calendar and share this between other iomartmail users. Other Calendar enhancements include the ability to define the alert time of an event and the free/busy status of an event.

Easyspace Launches New Pic ‘N’ Mix Website Hosting Service

Easyspace, one of the largest web hosting and domain name providers in the UK, has this week launched a unique customisable web hosting service for home and business users.

As a leading provider of web hosting packages, already offering a number of pre-built shared hosting packages, the company has taken this innovative step as it seeks to further simplify the web hosting purchase process for customers.

The Pic ‘n’ Mix package lets customers customise their hosting solution to better match their requirements at the slide of a selection bar, by allowing them to choose the settings of five key components – disk space, bandwidth, mailboxes, operating system and payment plan.

Costs for the Pic ‘n’ Mix package range from as little as £1.25 to £30 per month depending on the choices the customer makes.

Customers can choose:

  • between five and 200 mailboxes;
  • between one and 20GB of disk space;
  • between three and 50GB of bandwidth;
  • Linux or Windows-based systems;
  • monthly or yearly payment plans

Errol Vanderhorst, sales and marketing director for Easyspace, said: ”Customers no longer need to buy an all singing, all dancing, pre-built package if all they require is a lot of disk space, for example.

“With Pic ‘n’ Mix, the customer chooses the specification. We take care of the rest.”

The Pic ‘n’ Mix package will join other Easyspace offerings such as the popular StarterPlus (for beginners, personal and home users) and Business packages.

New Virtual Server Package add-ons launched by Easyspace

Easyspace, one of the leading suppliers of Virtual Servers in the UK, has this week launched enhanced add-on features for its Virtual Private Server products.

Having recently launched a Windows Virtual Server range to compliment its existing Linux VPS range, followed by the release of Remote Desktop Protocol service allowing access via Terminal Services, Easyspace has now launched a Burstable RAM service on its Linux Packages and an Automated Backup services for both Windows and Linux based servers.

Burstable RAM will allow customers to take advantage of additional RAM resources, particularly handy when installing additional applications or running large scripts, while the Automated Backup service will allow you to roll back to any version of your server from the previous 7 days.

Both add-on services are available to new and existing customers at low monthly cost and both services come with monthly or annual payment options.

Windows Virtual Servers now available from Easyspace

Easyspace, one of the largest Virtual Server providers in the UK, is now offering Windows based Virtual Private Servers to sit alongside its existing Linux based VPS products.


In line with the existing Linux packages, Windows Virtual Servers are being sold as Standard and Premium packages, costing £11.95 per month and £22.95 per month respectively. Additionally, like the existing Linux offering, Windows servers are available with Dual Xeon Processors, up to 512MB dedicated Ram and up to 40GB HD.


Easyspace had become one of the leading suppliers of Virtual Private Servers in the UK before offering a Windows alternative, and already a large demand for the Windows option has been realised. 40% off .biz domains with Easyspace

Easyspace today announced the launch of its May 2008 special offer, just one of a number of special offers to be rolled out in the coming months.

Until 31st May, all people buying a domain name with Easyspace will be able to purchase any number of .biz domain names for just £7.50 each for one year – a saving of 40% on the standard sale price of the domain!

The offer lasts only until 31st May and is open to both new and existing customers.
